EditBuddy ("Company," "we," "us," "our") provides an Adobe Premiere Pro extension ("Service") subject to these Terms of Service. By downloading, installing, or using EditBuddy, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use EditBuddy for personal or professional video editing purposes. You may not:
The free tier allows 3 videos per week. You may reset this limit by upgrading to a paid plan. Free tier is provided "as-is" without SLA or support guarantees.
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Paddle. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime via your dashboard  cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds for partial months.
Pro plans include monthly AI processing minutes. Excess usage is charged at $0.10/minute. We reserve the right to rate-limit or throttle extremely large batch jobs.
You agree NOT to use EditBuddy to:
You retain ownership of the media you edit with EditBuddy. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload, process, edit, transcribe, or analyze that content.
If you use cloud-assisted features, you authorize EditBuddy and its processing providers to handle the minimum content necessary to deliver those features, such as extracted audio, transcript text, or low-resolution visual frames.
EditBuddy, its features, and underlying code are owned by us. You retain all rights to videos you process with EditBuddy. We may use anonymized usage data and aggregated metrics to improve the service.
Your original project files stay on your machine. EditBuddy does not upload your full video clips, audio files, or Premiere Pro projects to our servers.
Some AI-assisted features (such as transcription, AI analysis, or visual understanding) need a cloud provider to generate a result. When you run those features, the extension sends only the minimum extracted data required for that feature  for example, compressed audio, transcript text, vocabulary hints, or low-resolution frames from clips  over encrypted connections to secure cloud providers. Basic editing utilities and certain fallback workflows can run locally in System mode where supported.
Cloud-assisted features require an internet connection. Not every feature has a local equivalent.
EditBuddy is provided "AS-IS" without warranties. We do not guarantee:
