We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email us within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund that payment in full — no questions asked.
This covers your most recent payment (your initial purchase or a renewal). To request it, email [email protected] from your purchase email within the 7-day window. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider, and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
We also encourage you to use the free trial before purchasing — it includes full access to all features so you can be confident EditBuddy fits your workflow.
After the 7-day window
Once the 7-day money-back window has passed, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may still issue a refund (in full or in part) if:
- EditBuddy fails to function on your machine despite reasonable troubleshooting with our support team.
- You were charged in error or double-billed.
- A critical technical failure prevented you from using the product and our team was unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
You can also cancel your subscription at any time — you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period and won't be charged again.
What is not covered
- Change of mind after the 7-day money-back window has passed.
- Incompatibility with a system that does not meet the stated requirements (please check before buying).
- Issues caused by user error, incorrect setup, or third-party software conflicts.
- Requests related to features you expected but which are not listed on the product page.
Try before you buy
We offer a full-feature free trial — one per computer — so you can verify that EditBuddy works on your system before spending any money. We genuinely recommend using the trial thoroughly. If the trial works well, the paid license will too.

EditBuddy software, including its source code, logic, design, branding, and all associated materials, is the exclusive property of EditBuddy. All rights are reserved.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use EditBuddy on a single machine. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of EditBuddy.
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or share the software or license keys with others.
- Modify the software or create derivative works based on it.
- Circumvent the license verification system or any security mechanisms built into the product.
Violation of these terms constitutes a breach of your license agreement and may result in immediate termination of your license without refund, as well as potential legal action. EditBuddy takes the protection of its software seriously and will pursue any unauthorised use through available legal channels.
