Do you qualify?
Three requirements. All three must be met to maintain Creator Partner status. We check quarterly.
Videos per month
Publish at least 6 videos every calendar month on your channel. Shorts, tutorials, reviews, and walkthroughs all count.
Combined monthly views
Those 6+ videos must collectively receive 500,000 or more views in the same 30-day window. One viral video alone doesn't count.
Video editing content
Your content must be primarily about video editing, Premiere Pro, content creation, or creator tools — not a general interest channel.

Creator Partner FAQ
How is 500,000 views calculated?
We look at views accumulated in the last 30 calendar days, from videos published in that same period. Old viral videos don't count — we want consistent monthly output. If you published 8 videos this month and they got 520k combined views, you qualify. Next month we check again.
What counts as a "video editing" video?
Premiere Pro tutorials, review and comparison videos, editing workflow breakdowns, plugin reviews, caption or B-roll guides, creator productivity content — all count. General vlog, gaming, or lifestyle content on the same channel doesn't count toward your qualifying output, even if it gets high views.
Do I lose my Partner status if I miss a month?
We review quarterly, not monthly. If you dip below requirements for one month out of three, you stay. Consistently missing requirements across two consecutive quarters results in downgrade to standard affiliate (25%). You can re-apply once you meet requirements again.
Can I promote other video editing tools and still be a Creator Partner?
Yes. There's no exclusivity. You can review AutoCut, FireCut, or any other tool alongside EditBuddy. Honest comparisons actually convert well because they build trust with your audience.
Does the commission change if my referral upgrades their plan?
Yes, it adjusts automatically. If a subscriber you referred upgrades from Starter ($19) to Pro ($39), your commission updates from $6.65/mo to $13.65/mo at the 35% rate starting from their next billing cycle.
When do Creator Partner commissions get paid?
Same schedule as standard affiliates — monthly, 30 days after the end of each month, with a $50 minimum payout. Creator Partners have the option for bank transfer (in addition to PayPal) for payments over $200.
Can I use my Partner link in paid ads?
You may not bid on EditBuddy branded search terms. You may run paid social or YouTube ads using your partner link, provided the ad content complies with our standard affiliate guidelines (no false discount claims, clear disclosure).
